It is a legal requirement that your carry the correct authorisation documents if you wish to take your/your company vehicle abroad
If you are taking your lease car abroad, you will need to obtain a VE103 certificate from your funder. You can normally do this by calling the relevant funder lines, or online - if you are unsure on how to do this please do contact us by emailing info@jetvehiclefinance.co.uk . Please do allow plenty of time to this before you travel (most recommend 28 days).
Your funder will also be able to advise on the breakdown assistance for travelling abroad if you have this as part of your contract.
As a lot of trips abroad will include travel through France, you may also need a Crit'Air vignette (clean air sticker) - for details on where this needed and how to obtain see www.certificat-air.gouv.fr. You will need to do this before you travel.
There are some great websites, such as the AA, who will be able to advise on different rules for abroad and what you will need to carry, so do check these out.
Above all, remember to have a good holiday !
